Pursuant to the Law on Higher Education and Science, so-called 2.0 Act, the IIMCB, together with 8 other scientific institutes, established the joint doctoral school - Warsaw PhD School of Natural and BioMedical Sciences (Warsaw-4-PhD). The school is based on modern educational trends, it educates doctoral students in four scientific disciplines: biology, chemistry, physics and medicine. The School commenced its activity on October 1, 2019.

Also, the Science Management Team members elaborated on the foreign degree recognition procedure (nostrification) and established “The Rules of Procedure for Awarding the Doctoral Degree at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw”.
