1. Science management team improved knowledge on OA, ODM and ethics. To adopt policies the science management team analysed national and international regulations/recommendations on the OA, ODM and ethical policies, especially of the: European Commission, Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, National Science Centre and existing internal documentation. They also participated in dedicated workshops and consultations.
  2. IIMCB approached existing repositories for depositing IIMCB’s research data and publications. The IIMCB representatives initiated cooperation with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, University of Warsaw (ICM) within their Open Science project for using their repository by IIMCB researchers - Repositories RepOD/CeON.
  3. The Open Access Policy, including Open Access to Publications and Open Access to Data, and Data Management Plan template was introduced at the Institute. The policy serves the IIMCB researchers in their research and dissemination activities and provides them with guidelines on project proposal and implementation stage.
  4. Agnieszka Ziemka was appointed Data Steward.
