Marcin is a research technician at the Laboratory of RNA Biology. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 2012 and Master’s degree in 2014 from the Department of Biology, University of Warsaw. His master's thesis was focused on postovulatory ageing of mouse oocytes and its impact on fertilization and subsequent developmental capacity to the blastocyst stage. After obtaining his master's degree, he continued his research as a research assistant for one year. Next, he joined to a group of prof. Andrzej Tarkowski where they made attempts to obtain fully xenogeneic fetuses in rat↔mouse model by using the embryonic stem cells. In 2018 he has started working in Mouse Genome Engineering Facility where he is responsible for the embryological part of the process of producing genetically modified mice. Among his research interests are: assisted reproductive technology, early embryo development and interspecific chimeras. Privately he is a photographer and fan of board games.
