High quality scientific writing is crucial for success in science, that is why we organize special training on scientific writing for IIMCB PhD Students.
The training by Dr. Mark Hunt consists of two parts:
- General Principles of Good Biomedical Writing - it covers the structure of an academic paper (what to include, what to leave out). How PhD students can improve their scientific writing in English (how to be clearer, concise as well as a section on common mistakes made by writers based in Poland).
- How to Write a Good Cover Letter and Respond to Reviewers' Comments - what makes a good cover letter and how to write it? How to respond appropriately to reviewers' comments?
The event is financed from the European Union’s Horizon2020 project entitled “MOlecular Signaling in Health and Disease - Interdisciplinary Centre of Excellence” acronym: MOSaIC.
