UNESCO Regional Consultation on Open Science for Eastern Europe meeting is a part of a series of regional consultations aimed at building a global consensus on open science. It also builds a platform of communication for Eastern European scientists, science funders, policymakers, innovators, publishers, and other concerned stakeholders on Open Science. Ms. Urszula Białek-Wyrzykowska, Deputy Director for Development at IIMCB, took part in a panel discussion on Open Science from the Science perspective and gave a short lecture titled “Open Science: Polish Perspective”. Ms. Wyrzykowska explained i.a. how the H2020 ERA Chairs Scheme supports research institutions in strengthening their potential and what are MOSaIC's achievements in this area.
