Activities of the MOSaIC project coordinator and the director of the IIMCB in the Open Science area
On September 9-10, the National Science Centre (NCN) is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The NCN is a grant agency whose goal is to finance research projects in the field of basic research. IIMCB actively supports the work and activities of the NCN. Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki, MOSaIC project coordinator is a member of the Council of the NCN since 2018, and in the 2020 he was appointed its new President.
The celebration of the Jubilee started on September 9 with a grand gala, during which Prof. Kuźnicki had his speech. On September 10 a jubilee conference is organized - its mains topics are: science during the pandemic and the policy of "open science". The discussion panel on Open Science will be led by Prof. Marta Miączyńska, Director of the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw.
