START 2022 competition has been already complited! Among the winners there are scientists from IIMCB: Olga Gewartowska from RNA Biology Laboratory - ERA Chairs Group and Natalia Stec from RNA-Protein Interactions Laboratory - Dioscuri Center. Congratulations!

START Program of the Foundation for Polish Science is the oldest scholarship program in Poland for the best young scientists representing all fields of science. This year was 30th edition of the program. Its aim is to support outstanding young scientists and encourage them to further scientific development. Prestigious scholarships were awarded to 100 outstanding young scientists from among 794 submitted candidates.

START grantees are selected through a multi-stage competition in which the quality of their scientific achievements to date is assessed. Among this year's awardees, the majority of researchers represent biological and medical sciences - 31 scholarships.
