The biological basis of cancer and precision therapies in oncology - these were the main topics of the 3-day conference PORT for Health: Oncology2022. The annual conference  focused on life sciences that brings together scientists, medical practitioners and industry professionals. During the event one of the speakers was  Prof.  Andrzej Dziembowski, head of the RNA Biology Laboratory - ERA Chairs Group at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw and leader of the research team of the HERO/WIB project. Prof Dziembowski took part in Session 4 – Precision therapies in oncology, presenting the lecture titled: Oncogenic mechanisms of DIS3 mutations.
